Plain definitions of the core terms in the frameworks. Each links to where the idea is developed in full.

Adapter: An adapter is a transducer: a device or organ that converts one form of the one thing into another form a sense or a machine can receive. An eye converts light into sight, a thermal camera converts heat into a colored image, and a radio converts oscillation into sound. A working adapter is treated as evidence that the two forms were the same thing in different vocabularies. Adapters as Translators.
The convertibility test: The convertibility test tells a real synonym from a loose analogy. Two things are the same if you can build a faithful adapter that translates one into the other. If no adapter exists yet, they are a candidate. If a faithful bridge provably cannot exist, you may be looking at a real seam rather than a false wall. Unity means translatable, not identical. Cohesiveness: Cohesiveness is the thesis that reality is one connected whole, and that most of what looks like a boundary between separate domains is terminology rather than nature: two different words for the same underlying thing. The Unification Map.
The one certainty ("I am"): The one certainty is that experience is occurring, the bare fact behind the words I am. It is the single thing knowable with full certainty, because the act of doubting it is itself an experiencing, and it survives even the possibility that reality is a simulation. Defeater: A defeater is a statement of what evidence would lower confidence in a claim. Attaching a defeater to every load-bearing claim is what separates a held premise from a dogma: a worldview that can say what would change its mind. Premises and Their Status.
Evidence tags: Evidence tags mark each claim's status across the site. ESTABLISHED is mainstream and well-evidenced. FRAMING is an organizing lens, not a lab result. OPEN is a real but unproven or unbuilt possibility. CONTESTED is claimed but not supported by controlled evidence. CLOSED is tested and falsified. The Library.
