Why it exists

Most people never learn how to repair a relationship after conflict. Therapy teaches it, but therapy is expensive, hard to schedule, and built around one couple and one clinician at a time. The research on what actually works has existed for decades. It never made it into a tool two people could pick up in the middle of a hard week.

Repaired is that tool. It walks both people through a guided process: each says what happened, each is heard, and the conversation moves toward an honest close. The structure does the work a therapist would otherwise do in the room. It slows things down, keeps both sides safe, and makes sure nobody gets steamrolled.

Under the hood it synthesizes six research-backed approaches to conflict and connection. The frameworks stay invisible. What people experience is a calm, guided conversation.

What it does

Guided repair

A step-by-step process for two people working through a conflict together. Each phase has one job: say your side, hear theirs, find the honest close.

Both sides first

Each person expresses their side before either hears the other. Nobody performs for an audience, and nobody has to go second.

Private by design

What you write stays yours until you choose to share it. The process is explicit about what the other person will and will not see.

Growth between conflicts

Self-understanding tools for the quiet weeks: patterns, check-ins, and questions that build the skill before you need it.

Why it matters to me

The name started as a breakfast joke: two people, re-paired. The conviction behind it is serious. Relationships are the highest-leverage part of a life, and the skills that make them work are learnable.

Nobody should need a crisis and a waiting list to learn them.
